The General Dacey Trail Committee is planning a night walk. Committee chairman Jerry Yockey and trail volunteer Bob Niestradt along with the Boy Scouts will be putting out 300 luminaries to light the trail. This event is planned for Saturday, January 15 between 6-8 p.m. They are also planning a bonfire and hot chocolate or hot cider. The two men went out to the trail Wednesday evening to test the concept of luminaries. They took this picture to show how the trail will be lit. They have also planned this activity close to a full moon so the trail should be very visible.
